Scholarship Program

The Edward S. Elliman Scholarship Program for Advanced Studies in the Environment builds on students’ experience at the Manice Education Center and in other Christodora programs.

A select number of highly motivated high school students are awarded the opportunity to pursue their studies in specialized science and wilderness programs, with additional scholarship support from program partners. Recent scholarship recipients have attended National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS); Outward Bound; Hobart & William Smith Colleges' Environmental Studies Summer Youth Institute; Teton Science Schools; Road Less Traveledand have worked on Student Conservation Association backcountry trail crews.
