Thank you to everyone who made our 2026 Gala night a special moment of community and connection. It was an evening of delicious memories, full of laughter and fun. It is thanks to supporters like you that Christodora is able to continue to provide opportunities to New York City youth to grow through a relationship with the natural world.
This year, we honored Stephen Payne with the Spirit of Christodora Award for his continued impactful work as a program alumni & Christodora staff member. We also presented beloved Chef George Harpin with the Living Legacy Award to honored his 20 years of service at Christodora, helping to make our programs as delicious as they are impactful. Plus, his homemade hot sauce was a huge hit in the silent auction!
And, a heartfelt thanks for board member and illustrator extraordinaire Genevieve Goelet for the charming paintings of flora and fauna inspired by the Manice Education Center.
