5 Boro Triumphant - 2024!

On Sunday, May 5, 2024 a group of Christodora alumni, friends, supporters and staff gathered in midtown Manhattan at 7:00 in the morning to begin the journey and iconic New York experience - the 5 Boro Bike Tour! Every year, bikers from across the world gather in New York for this one special day when sections of the highway are closed and bike riders have the streets - gloriously - to themselves. This year, the Christodora team more than tripled in size compared to last year, with 36 total registered! When tour day came, all the riders were looking fabulous in their official biker jerseys, generously supported by Roux Associates, our major sponsor of this fundraising initiative this year.

Through Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and at last, Staten Island, our riders were biking for a cause of fundraising for Christodora’s nature, learning, and leadership programs. And, by the time they’d reached the finish line, our riders had raised $46,000+ in support of our programs!
