MEC SUMMER PROGRAMS APPLICATION INFORMATION 

Christodora and the Manice Education Center (MEC) are excited that you are interested in applying for our summer programs. Please read through the instructions below for more information. We hope to see you this summer!

Admission and Scholarships are given on a first come – first serve basis, so the sooner you apply, the more we are able to help cover the cost of your trip.

Applications will be received on a rolling basis until May 1st

Here are the steps to completing the application process:
1. Download an application from here [o aquí para español] or request an application by contacting our office at 212-371-3441.

2. Mail completed application and teacher recommendation (for first time applicants) along with the $60 registration fee.

3. You will be contacted to set up an interview upon receipt of application.

4. Once accepted you will receive your acceptance letter by mail or email.

5. Your Parents will be informed of tuition fees, after our office reviews your Scholarship Application (which is included in the application packet) and proof of income documentation.

**It is our focus to help you successfully send your student to the Manice Education Center. Scholarship Funds are limited, and are given on a need and first served basis.

6. Complete and send in the Medical Forms signed by your Doctor (Medical Form Packet)

The session dates are:  

Exploratory Course Session 1 (6th & 7th grade): June 30 to July 6	Advanced Course or Leadership Training Course Session 3 (8th & 9th grade): July 26 to August 13
Foundation Course Session 2 (7th & 8th grade): July 9 - 23	High School Leadership Development Course Session 4 (high school leadership): August 16- 26
